Tell Shukri, for he has exaggerated and gone too far; part of what you are immersed in might heal the heart.
Part of this—for in poetry and prose, you are a littateur who does not leave critics helpless.
Had you truly understood our words, the passion of our critique would not have cost you distress and sleeplessness.
Return to it and you will find your cure therein, since you have merely patterned recycled speech anew.
And moderate your excess against us, lest you test yourselves against sharp spearheads.
Leave poetry aside; you are not the sharper of the two in it, nor the one whose flint strikes brighter sparks.
If you produce much, how many a sparse speaker has attempted verse once and excelled.
Be as you wish among us, completely at ease; we have not even bothered to critique what you say.
