النص Poem text
He raced his father and both approached, while they took turns wearing the cloak of pride.
Until when hearts leaped and every excuse was pressed hard against its counterpart there.
And the shouting of the people rose, asking which of them would win; the respondent there said, "I do not know."
The uncovered face of his father emerged, and he kept running at the height of his fury.
Closer and closer he came to equalling him, had it not been for the majesty of age and seniority.
And the two of them, when they emerged, were like a pair of falcons that had alighted upon a nest.
